Our Mission
Kids-R-Kreative Learning Center, Inc. provides a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. We are dedicated to ensuring that each and every child develops socially, emotionally and academically. Our vision is to build a strong foundation for future generations to grow upon.
Our Philosophy
Children are unique and special gifts, who learn through exploring and interacting with others. Our philosophy is to focus on each child and respect that they are all individuals with different needs and talents as a whole. We believe that they develop in their own way, and in their own time, in the following areas: Social, Emotional, Physical and Cognitive.
Our Goal
To provide the best childcare where our students learn conflict resolution and decision-making skills based on the understanding of self-awareness and appreciation of others. We believe these values will leave a lasting impression on the children that will allow them to possess self-confidence and become a well-rounded individual.
ACCREDITATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Pursuing accreditation is a voluntary, ongoing commitment that can take up to 2 years to complete. It is a process of intensive self-study and improvement. Accreditation is a mark of distinction that helps you find the best possible educational experience for your child.
Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements. When a center is awarded accreditation, they are meeting very rigorous national standards in health, safety, administration and teacher qualifications, curriculum, communication and community involvement. To maintain their certification, our accredited centers must continually exceed high national child care standards.
Our commitment to accreditation gives you the assurance that every day is a positive, educational and worthwhile experience for your child. You can have confidence that your child receives the best care and education possible at Kids-R-Kreative Learning Center, Inc.
Contact your state’s child care regulatory office, or visit the following accreditation organizations to learn more:
The National Accreditation Commission for the Early Care and Education Programs (NAC)
5* STAR QUALITY COUNTS SCHOOL
The five-star rating is the highest possible program rating. The Quality Counts System (QCS) is a comprehensive, voluntary early care and education improvement and support system. This program ensures the highest in-classroom standards possible. Our preschool programs are QIS monitored. Click here to learn more about the Quality Counts program.
HIGH VPK SCHOOL READINESS RATINGS
The Voluntary Pre-K school readiness rating is a number rating schools performance on a series of test performed as children from the VPK program enter Kindergarten. To have a passing score, children must demonstrate oral language, phonological awareness, print knowledge and mathematics. Attending a Preschool with a high VPK school readiness rating ensures your child is receiving high-quality Pre-K preparations.
DCF CHILD CARE SERVICES GOOD SEAL QUALITY OF CARE RECIPIENT
The DCF Child Care Program Office is responsible for approving accrediting agencies for participation in the Gold Seal Quality Care Program. “These accrediting agencies must meet or exceed the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards, the standards of the National Association of Family Child Care, or the standards of the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation Commission.” The Gold Seal Quality Care Program does not contain a set of independent standards; rather, it is a level of care that exceeds the minimum licensing standards by meeting the higher standards set by the approved accrediting agencies. NAC ACCREDITED
National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education (NAC) serves to ensure the quality of care provided by a child care facility. “The two step accreditation process, a self study followed by a verification visit, is an evaluation of the indicators of quality as reflected in each individual program. All components of a program are examined including: Administration, classroom environment, parent and community involvement, advocacy on behalf of children and child care, staffing credentials, staff to child ratios, teacher/child interaction, literacy and curriculum.” Click here to learn more about NAC accreditation. Kids-R-Kreative Learning Center, Inc. is currently a member in good standing with NAC.
